The SHD application in Knocknacarra, Galway, was lodged to An Bord Pleanála for a development consisting of 332 apartments.
The development is designed next to Gateway Retail Park and ties in with well-designed plaza becoming an urban district center. Number of commercial units are located around the plaza to provide food and beverage outlets for local community. Application states “A vibrant new public square will be the centrepiece of this six acre urban project and it will be accessible to both new residents and the wider Knocknacarra community.”
